SSAB is taking the lead in decarbonizing thesteel industry. Within SSAB Special Steels, we are now looking fora strategic, technical skilled Regional Sales Manager for our sales team inItaly. We are looking for someone located and well familiar with the centraland south part of Italy - where the main responsibility will be to developsales and growth plans towards our existing and new customers in this region.
Extensive travelling is required in this role

About the position As Regional Sales Manager within the sales andmarketing function, you have the responsibility to develop sales of wearresistant and high strength steels through technical support. You will haveclose collaboration with a Technical Development Manager and Inside Sales inyour team and crossfunctionally within the hole sales department in Europe. Inthis role your will be developing new customers, segments and applications aswell as upgrading existing and new customers to more advanced materials. Youwill drive the development of local sales and marketing activities towards ourcustomers in southern Italy. 
Main responsibilities Develop strategic goals forthe area, secure yearly sales and marketing targets Participate in marketingactions and visit workshops and end-users on a regular basis. You will analyzeand develop the strategy to increase end-user reach. You will independently set up sales representations,contracts, proposals and negotiate offer, prices and other terms. Document your key activitiesin our customer relationship management system Salesforce. Usually you haveseveral customer meetings per week and then do a follow-up, together withreporting and planning About You To succeed in this role youhave a few years of experience within the business and are now looking for thenext step in your carrier - curious to learn more and to develop.  You have preferably graduatedwith a degree in business administration, economics or engineering from aUniversity, or college/higher education institution Professional working skills inItalian and English are required and you have to be resident in the central /south part of Italy. To succeed in this role youhave a proactive approach to new business opportunities and continuedimprovements, and you truly enjoy creating partnerships with internal &external customers. We expect you to have thetechnical experience, and be motivated to work in the steel business and a genuinecuriosity to learn more about steel making, properties and user benefits.
