Regional Sales Manager, Italy Location: Bari SSAB is taking the lead in decarbonizing the steel industry. Within SSAB Special Steels, we are now looking for a strategic, technically skilled Regional Sales Manager for our sales team in Italy. We are looking for someone located and well familiar with the central and southern parts of Italy, where the main responsibility will be to develop sales and growth plans towards our existing and new customers in this region. Extensive traveling is required in this role. About the position As Regional Sales Manager within the sales and marketing function, you are responsible for developing sales of wear-resistant and high-strength steels through technical support. To succeed in this role, you should be at the beginning of your career, preferably graduated with a degree in business administration, economics, or engineering. The role includes developing new customers, segments, and applications, as well as upgrading existing and new customers to more advanced materials. You will drive the development of local sales and marketing activities towards our customers but in collaboration with a team of Technical Support and Inside Sales.
Main responsibilities Develop strategic goals for the area and secure yearly sales and marketing targets.Participate in marketing actions and visit workshops and end-users regularly. Analyze and develop strategies to increase end-user reach.Independently set up sales representations, contracts, proposals, and negotiate offers, prices, and other terms.Document your key activities in our customer relationship management system Salesforce. You will have several customer meetings per week, followed by reporting and planning.About You You have some experience in sales within the steel, manufacturing, or mining industry and are eager to take the next step.
