We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to join the region SOUTHWEST Europe at VELUX.
In this role, you will be an important contributor to the achievement of our ambitious growth plans, managing the regional project portfolio and ensuring effective execution.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are effectively planned, executed, and controlled.
You will lead a team of 4 project managers and your geographical scope will include France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, and Portugal.
Your mission will also consist of spearheading innovative project management practices and strengthening project management capabilities across the organization.
Main Responsibilities Ensure consistent project management practices, leading a team of 4 Project Managers to coordinate project delivery in the assigned markets.
Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of the project portfolio, facilitating capacity allocation between global, regional, and local strategic initiatives and ensuring resource optimization. Review governance and enhance project proposals and business cases evaluation for prioritization and resource allocation.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and implement robust project performance monitoring and reporting mechanisms, enabling data-driven decision-making for achieving our growth targets.
Risk and Issue Management: Establish proactive processes for identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues.
Change management: Develop change management plans, including communication plans to share the progress of the projects.
Stakeholder Management and Business Impact: Foster significant relationships with project stakeholders. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

REPORT TO: Regional Business Development Director
PROFILE: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. Master's degree is an asset.
Extensive experience (5+ years) in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects (Management Consulting Experience preferred or in-house Business Development experience with successful commercial engagements).
High knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
Advanced leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve great results.
Advanced communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities, with a keen focus on driving business impact.
Passion and solid experience for conducting transformation and supporting change within a multinational organization.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Experience working in a multi-country context, specifically in France, Benelux, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, is recommended.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
