Accounting/Finance, Building Management, Construction, Facilities ManagementLocation(s)CBRE GWS is looking for a Regional Finance Lead that will be based in Italy, below the responsibilities of the roleLeadershipProvide support to peer Regional Finance Manager and Regional Ops directorReportingResponsibility for ensuring an accurate and smooth Month-End Close cycleAssemble the Monthly Business Review pack for the global account resultsFinalize review of all in scope European countries' monthly P&L resultsDeliver client reporting per site on a monthly basisReview Overdue Accounts Receivable, and Trade Working Capital reports and take corrective action where requiredInvestigate and explain deviations from Budgets and ForecastsAd-hoc reporting as requested by Business/FinancePositively respond to both our internal and external customers (often in a matrix environment) through effective communication and personal accessibility/credibility.Insightful analysis of financial resultsOperationalTrusted business partner of Regional Leaders / Facility ManagersRun open purchase order report weekly and review all open orders keeping aged POs to a minimum; run and review Debt report weekly ensuring issues are dealt with promptly ensuring CBRE receive payment in line with our contractual payment terms.Support the local Contract Support Teams in the production of billing application, calculating margins, raising invoices, and submitting to client and to control the invoice pool.Demonstrate knowledge of procedures and processes and deliver these to the required standardControlEnsure that best practice is followed in the countries under span of controlEnsure company policies and procedures are adhered to consistently throughout the Account and Contract Support TeamEnsure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial systems, whilst identifying opportunities to enhance system efficienciesEnsure Balance Sheet account are appropriate substantiated and reconciledBudgets and ForecastingSupport the financial planning and forecasting cycleActively participate as part of the Finance and Contract Support Team; provide knowledge and understanding to coach and support othersAnalysis of deviations from Budgets / ForecastsOtherAbility to build profile and trust with senior leadershipAbility to influence team members in other countries to change behaviourImplementation of new processes and best practices remotely.
