Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is looking for a Regional Director of Revenue Management.
The Regional Director of Revenue Management reports directly to the BU Director of Revenue and will be responsible for leading the regional RM team to maximize revenues, market share and profit in his/her regions. Ensure the team works in close partnership with marketing, sales, distribution, e-commerce & operations.
MAIN RESPONSABILITIESBuild a strong team, recruits new talents, develops team competence, Reviews each member performance on a regular basis.Ensures all key functions work closely and smoothly together (RMs, RC & CC).Aligns team objectives and actions with the global strategy.Anticipate needs & barriers to help BU & team achieve objectives.Ensure team works in partnership with key functions (operations, sales, marketing, e-commerce, distribution).Communicate team work and performance to DRM & top management.Ensures pricing and yield guidelines for rates, room types, and customer segments are reviewed and defined every year in collaboration with BU & HQ.Ensures optimal segmentation and channel mix strategy is developed, implemented & communicated.Defines once a year ideal city indexation in collaboration with HQ Pricing director and adjusts it depending on market evolution & monthly key insights.Leads the region yearly 2-year revenue strategy & budget processes. Leads the region forecasting processes, communicates to DRM & strategic analyst key risks & opportunities and ensures action are set by partners to reach & exceed budget.Ensures all team members know & apply RM methods, processes & tools.Communicates to HQ & top management key insights & actions defined.Work closely with the OTA regional and market managers segment to develop the Action Plans by account.EDUCATIONDegree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics or similar. Value given to post graduate qualifications.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGEOrganized and methodical.Highly quantitative analytical skills.Strategic thinking and mind set.Strong influencing and communication skills.Proven track record of revenue growth in previous hotels.Good team player, with leadership capacities.MS Office, Intermediate Excel. Knowledge of TMS4Hotels or other hotel CRS and PMS Systems Knowledge of hotel Revenue Management Systems.Fluent, both spoken and written, English and Italian.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEMinimum 5 years' experience in Revenue Management, with at least 3 years as hotel Revenue Manager of a hotel/hotels in primary destination and with significant incomes.
