**Description**
The role of the Regional Business Lead (RBL) is to ensure the successful launch and commercialisation of the customer's lead product for Metastatic Uveal Melanoma. The RBL will be responsible to achieve the business objectives within the given geography. The RBL will be responsible for managing the sales and regional promotional budget while leading the promotion of the product in the given geography. As part of driving demand, the RBL will build long-term relationships with targeted treatment centers and stakeholders including but not limited to Medical Oncologists, Nurses, and Ophthalmologists.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop strategic plans for your region of responsibility that will deliver agreed sales targets. The plan will outline critical success factors and strategic initiatives from which tactical plans will be derived and executed
- Monitor performance to KPIs as per Syneos Health and our customer's agreement
- Navigate complex national, regional and local healthcare environments and appropriately influence policy and funding to enable access and rapid availability of the product for eligible patients
- Profile, support and educate the healthcare multidisciplinary team on risk stratification, patient monitoring, testing and referral pathways to enable the appropriate patient identification marketing team to ensure our market understanding remains current and our plans fit for purpose
- Ensure best practices and support the customer's broader European team through regular contact and insight sharing with other RBL's and Country Business Leads (CBL)
- Understand, respect and abide by all local rules and regulations pertaining to pursuing pharmaceutical activities
- Comply with all Syneos Health and our customer's SOPs and codes of ethical practice
- Contribute and document interactions through a CRM system
**Requirements**:
- Fulfil legal certification requirements for medical sales in the country to work in the Pharmaceutical industry: the promotional information visit diploma or equivalent (example of equivalence: VAE certification, scientific diploma giving equivalence to the VM diploma)
- Educated to Degree Level (BSc) minimum, MSc, desirable
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry in Sales, Account Management or Healthcare Development Management at a national or regional level
- Thorough understanding of the National Healthcare System in the relevant countries of responsibility
- Experience in dealing with market access and payors in the geographic area
- Experience leading the execution of national advisory boards
- Track record of performance and delivery to sales and market share goals
