You will serve as a Region Exercise Assessment Analyst in the Exercises and Assessments Department of COMMANDER NAVY REGION EUROPE.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
Assisting in the design, development, and execution of major multi-service and interagency training exercises and assessments;Measuring performance levels for training events or exercises;Identifying gaps in Installation Exercise programs in order to correct issues;Assisting installations in developing post-exercise improvement plans to ensure continual personnel and system improvement;Applying conventional fact-finding and problem solving methods to identify deficiencies, draw conclusions and recommend appropriate corrective actions/solutions to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of significant regional programs;Applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to the assessment of operational training and readiness events;Developing project papers and staff reports for key leadership and managers to improve understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations of operational training program improvements.Note: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for this position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is essentially administrative in nature, although some light physical effort may be required. Occasional overtime, weekend and late night work periods may be required to ensure time accomplishment of the Regional staff mission. When assessing exercises, the incumbent may be required to stand for long periods and may be exposed to extreme weather conditions. Assignments periodically require visits to ports, airfields, storage, or other industrial areas, and involve moderate risks or discomforts. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) clothing and gear and observance of safety precautions may be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate controlled office. When assessing exercises the incumbent may be required to conduct on-site training at various locations throughout the Region aboard the installation which may involve exposure to the elements.
