For the Executive Board Staff department, we are looking for a Information Security Engineering Officer (m/f/d) The Information Security unit is responsible for information security management at VBL with a team of security experts.
The unit covers the entire spectrum from the development of security requirements to support and advice on the implementation of measures through to auditing and awareness-raising in order to meet the challenges in this area appropriately.
Your tasks You will support VBL's IT projects with regard to security engineering.
You will be involved in the analysis and design of a secure architecture and take on the security-related evaluation of specifications.
You recommend appropriate security measures and good practice procedures to reduce the attack surface.
They develop security guidelines for all lifecycle phases and thus establish secure development processes.
You work on threat modeling and risk analyses.
You teach methods and techniques from the field of security engineering in training courses and carry out security exercises and awareness-raising measures.
Your profile You have a university degree, preferably in computer science with a focus on information security or equivalent knowledge and experience.
You have very good expertise in the field of security engineering and are familiar with the standards and practices (e.g.
OWASP Top 10, SAMM, ASVS) You have sound, practice-oriented knowledge of IT and network concepts as well as modern web technologies and are familiar with the security and industry standards (BSI IT-Grundschutz, VAIT / DORA) and technical guidelines of the BSI.
You have experience in software development and can integrate security requirements into existing systems You have very good analytical skills and creativity in the development of security solutions and have an independent way of working and negotiating skills.
You are a team player who enjoys working in consulting and have very good communication skills in German and English.
