We are looking for a Reception Manager to join our Front office team. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity, and community.
Main duties and responsibilities: Greeting guests and ensuring that they receive an efficient and friendly check-in and check-outRooming our guestsAnswering enquiries and providing information about the hotel and local area to guestsOrganising special requests and communicate with all departments within the hotel to ensure that our guests receive the highest standard of service.Implementing of the Leading Quality Assurance StandardsSupporting, training, and supervising front office staff.Supervising workload during shifts.Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.Allocate guest rooms according to the reservation requests and guests needsVerifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.Resolves guest problems quickly, efficiently, and courteously.Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with the front office teamMaximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily.Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.Operate all aspects of Front Office computer systems.Ensure answer to all messages and emails in a timely and professional manner.Monitor all V.I.P 's special guests and requests.Review daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night Audit.Review Front office log book and guest feedback on a daily basis.Maintain an organised and comprehensive filing system with all documentationPerform Duty Manager duties and other duties requested by managementRequirements: At least 5 years of previous professional experience preferably at international level in the same role;Fluent in English and Italian.
