Job Purpose and Impact The Receiving-Shipping Office Operator will oversee the reception of materials and products from multiple vendors and parties, store items in the appropriate areas, log inventory levels and retrieve orders for shipping as part of the company's production and warehouse team. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of the business for the local operation to ensure efficient operations.
Key Accountabilities Work closely with transportation, corporate support functions, operations and warehouse teams to follow up on receiving goods, shipments and tracking orders while identifying issues or concerns. Provide assistance to staff in resolution of problems, make recommendations on process improvements and handle customer service activities for internal and external customers. Use electronic tracking software to log all items. Perform regular inventory monitoring on stock levels in the department to ensure quantities meet operational needs Handle the entry exit documentation of vehicles, ensuring the accurate preparation of all necessary transport documents Contact and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the proper supply of goods, managing timelines and resolving delivery issues Develop and maintain reports, spreadsheets and inventory control programs, interpreting data and communicating results in an easy to understand way. Verify and reconcile inbound products are accurate and within company guidelines. Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or bachelor degree Minimum of 2 years of related work experience Confirmed math skills to calculate different production processes Good level of English Confirmed experience with spreadsheet and word processing applications (knowledge of SAP will be considered a plus) Other minimum qualifications may apply
