Our company is rapidly growing, and we are seeking an experienced title processor to join our team. You will assist buyers and the title team in making sure the title application is prepared and submitted correctly, and work with the team to resolve any issues or discrepancies to produce a clear title. The ideal candidate will have some experience working in title insurance, mortgage lending, or real estate transactions, with a keen eye for detail and outstanding research and customer service skills. ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Organizational Skills: Present a professional appearance, voice, and demeanorMust have a friendly, social personality and enjoy a positive workplace atmosphereDemonstrate excellent verbal and written communication with both internal teams and customersExcel in multitasking with exceptional organizational skillsExceed customer closing expectations through excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMaintain strong working relationships with colleagues, customers, lenders, realtors, and underwriters and promptly respond to customer inquiriesEffectively manage tasks related to title processing and closingsPossess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a natural curiosity with a willingness to learnFacilitate smooth communication between buyers, sellers, lenders, and realtors with a positive demeanorWillingly perform other duties as neededDemonstrate expertise in examining and clearing requirements on Title CommitmentsPerform data entry for title orders and initiate requests for title from the underwriter on new ordersProactively identify and communicate potential roadblocks or issues to customersPerform data entry tasks, assist with post-closing duties, and support closers in fulfilling the closing processProduce closing protection letters, Prelim-ALTA/CDs, and title requirements for lendersOrder surveys, payoffs, lien searches, and other required services to ensure clear titleCoordinate and schedule real estate closings with all involved partiesDemonstrate comprehensive knowledge of title insurance, real estate processing, and closings, including proficiency in professional phone etiquette and the ability to handle tasks such as ordering mortgage payoffs, estoppel letters, surveys, and moreEnter and submit title and loan documents into software programs to track applicant's progressResearch and verify the accuracy of documentation such as property title records, property ownership, public records, deeds, leases, surveys, contracts, and agreements needed to produce a clear titleCollaborate with title examiner and underwriter to prepare title insurance policy and binders and title commitments, and with loan closer to prepare HUD-1 real estate settlement statementsProvide title officers with clerical and data entry support, as well as administrative assistant essential dutiesEnsure all closing instructions are followed as per the closing package, and coordinate with loan officer, mortgage loan processor, and underwriter to be sure all underwriting commitments have been satisfiedQualificationsSoftware Experience: Utilize strong computer skills, including proficiency in Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), and a 10-key calculatorExperience with QUALIA software is highly desired but not requiredIf you meet these qualifications and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
Years of experience (1-3) with real estate transactions or title processing, or as a title company pre-processor or mortgage loan processor is essentialIntermediate proficiency with numerous programs including MS Office is essentialExcellent research, communications, customer service, and analysis skills are neededNotary public certification is not required but is an assetSome college is helpful; high school diploma or equivalent is requiredCompensation$45,000 - $65,000 Based on experience
