Commercial Real Estate Division (REL) is a business line of Global Banking (GLBA). REL is responsible for providing financing solutions for professional investors investing in office, logistics, retail, hotel, and other real estate (incl. multifamily, student accommodation, and nursing homes).
Desired start date - as soon as possible Tasks and responsibilities: Underwriting and structuring of commercial real estate structured finance transactions including leading the cashflow modellingAssisting in the structuring and execution of real estate commercial mortgage loans including participation in the redaction of written documents such as marketing pitches, termsheets, and credit applicationsParticipating in the distribution of commercial mortgage loans through the syndication market or alternative routes using debt capital market techniquesMonitoring of deals in the bookMaintaining close contact with the CRE market and developing a clear understanding of real estate asset management strategiesInteracting with clients under the supervision of Senior Front Officers during the execution phase of transactionsEnsuring full compliance with internal guidelines and regulation obligationsParticipating in the origination of Real Estate advisory mandatesConducting risk analysis relevant to each transactionFinancial analysis and modelling of the considered projectsProfile required Bachelor / Master degree from a top-ranked business and/or engineering collegeAny Commercial Real Estate specialization is welcomedAt least 1-2 years' experience in Structured financing in banks, insurers, and/or private equity fundsItalian and/or Spanish: B2Technical, operational & Soft skills: Professional command of MS OfficeUnderstanding of the loan market and related instrumentsCapacity to generate clear and compelling pitch materialResponsibilityFlexibility and responsivenessAbility to build and maintain trusted client relationshipsCommercial acumen and persistenceProactive approach to develop businessVery good ability to prioritize tasksVery good communication skillsTeam spirit
