**Position overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure completion of the transactional process, from MRP translation (manual & automatic) to call-off (according to defined placement policy) within specified product categories & plants.
- Document any discrepancies from agreed-upon delivery terms and promptly inform the purchasing specialist/buyer for communication to the supplier (via SCAR).
- In cases where adherence to the defined placement policy is not possible, consult the responsible purchasing specialist/buyer for alternative placement solutions.
- In emergency situations, track and report deviations from the placement policy and reasons to the responsible purchasing assistant/buyer.
- Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers in the event of specific issues regarding deviations in delivery schedules or packaging. Obtain necessary approvals from planning or production authorities as required. If necessary, inform the purchasing specialist/buyer for communication to the supplier (via internal SCAR).
- Report supplier requests for deviations from specifications and obtain approvals from relevant Quality, Research, and Production authorities. Issue warnings or claims to the purchasing assistant/buyer when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all Company rules, regulations, and corporate guidelines on safety and business practices.
- Comply with all site regulations concerning SHEQ matters.
- Efficiently manage and maintain relevant documentation.
- Perform raw material forecasting based on sales forecasts, supply review, MRP output, historic & seasonal consumption, with a focus on estimating raw material consumption for the upcoming 3 - 18 months.
- Handle the call-off of trading goods.
- Maintain ERP parameters for RM purchasing requisition (BOM, Lead-time, order quantity, etc.) and communicate requested changes to the Purchasing Specialist/buyer.
- Maintain the correct stock levels of RM to achieve working capital targets (DOH).
- Oversee RM SMOG.
- Collaborate on the Tread Beam project.
**Required skills and experience**:
- Proficiency in both English and Italian, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in SAP, Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to effectively engage with staff at all levels.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, proactivity, and integrity.
- Ability to cultivate positive working relationships with supplier contacts.
- A customer-focused attitude towards internal customers and plant service levels.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in utilizing ERP planning tools effectively.
- Prior experience in planning, manufacturing, procurement, business, or customer service.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in business or management, or engineering
- Business-oriented high school with a few years of experience
