RINA is currently recruiting for a Railway Field Laboratory Senior Assessor to join its office in Florence, Italywithin the Transport & Infrastructure Certification Division.MissionThe role focuses on performing assessment and testing validation activities (execution of activities and reports) within the railway environment: Railways mechanical testing activities in particular brake test on field.
Develop new railways mechanical tests and accreditation ISO 17025.
Key AccountabilitiesAssessment and testing Activities (in particular braking test):Perform assessment and testing activities related to projects in the Railway domain, ensuring thorough evaluation and compliance with industry standards.Client Interaction:Act as the main point of contact for clients, leading meetings with clients and the assessment team to understand project requirements and expectations.Delivery Assurance:Ensure the timely and successful delivery of assessment and verification plans, actively supporting projects to achieve satisfactory results.Knowledge Sharing:Mentor and share knowledge with Assessors, contributing to their professional development and growth.Compliance and Standards:Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.Client Feedback Analysis:Make recommendations based on external client feedback to assist in the continuous improvement of service delivery.Project Management:Undertake project management activities, where applicable, including monitoring the progress of projects and ensuring their successful completion.Design Verification:Design verification according to reference standards, conducting structural checks, and ensuring completeness checks on the quality system documentation.
