Radio Navigation Engineeer

Qascom is looking for a Radio Navigation Engineer within the Aerospace & Defence domain, based in our office in Bassano del Grappa. The resource will be involved in engineering activities supporting major National and International projects in the frame of the Galileo Satellite Navigation System. This includes the possibility to work with international teams and the major agencies, with activities and tasks supporting the design, development and validation of the signals and data protocols, of the space and the ground segments of the upcoming services of Galileo in first and second generation. Responsibilities: Study and design of data authentication services for satellite navigation; Study and design of signal authentication services for satellite navigation; Performance analysis of signals and authentication protocols; Service and system design including ground and space segment; Development of simulation tools and performance analysis tools. Requirements: Degree in Telecommunications/System/Electronics/Aerospace Engineering; Knowledge of signals theory and digital signal processing; Knowledge of modulation theory and RF communications.
