OpsTech Solutions Supply Chain organization (OTS SC) has an immediate opening as Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) Area Manager to support our building RAD24. The OTS SC organization manages and is responsible for a wide variety of hardware testing and deployment, new device launches and project initiatives that cross business teams and operations groups within Amazon Fulfillment IT.

Core ResponsibilitiesSteer all warehouse flow activities - receive, stow, pick, pack, provision, RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization)Steer all dock flow activities – Inbound (IB) and Outbound (OB)Allocate daily and weekly RAD Support Associate (AA) resources to meet demandCoordinate incoming and outgoing trucks in coordination with dock teamMonitor weekly and daily forecast vs. capacity for all standard RAD operative tasksTroubleshoot and support RAD Support AAs in all daily activitiesEnsure correct processing of requests in the Digital SC Solution (DSCS - ERP-System)Inventory managementMonitor and report on defined KPIsSteer ICQA activities within RDE1 - Weekly cycle counts, Inventory maintenance, Physical storage maintenance (5s, etc.)Monitor threshold levels using DSCS and inventory dashboardsInventory balancing between 3PL and RADEnforce safety guidelines and execute H&S auditsEnsure a clean and safe work environment for the whole teamCooperate in a diverse team with rapidly changing priorities in an ambiguous environmentStand and/or walk during a minimum 8 hour shiftLift up to 35 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachWork in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weatherThe position will work Mon-Fri in early shift model with flexibility according to/in line with operational requirements between 06:00-18:00. You take ownership in your work and team and are available to work overtime during Amazon's peak holiday season and as needed year-round. In addition, you are flexible to work on any type of assigned shift (nights, weekends, etc.). You pride yourself in leading others; you have direct management experience and have been responsible for your employees' performance. You have an eye for efficiency and have experience identifying and executing process improvement initiatives. Good English skills are required.
