We are looking for an Electric Drive Mechatronic Engineer to join our Headquarter at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Head of Electric Drive.
Your mission will be to manage the design and continuous development of electric drive components (AC/DC, electric motor, eAxles, and HV actuator) and their integration into the vehicle modules.
Your assigned activities will be: Support mechanical and electric development, integration, and optimization of e-drive team key components.
Define main functionalities of a complete particular electric vehicle architecture.
Design optimization of existing components with weight-saving targets and technical feasibility of new integrated E-Axle concepts and stand-alone parts.
Participate in virtual parts management meetings with Company System (i.e., Connect).
Accountable for 3D data for the complete e-drive team and components design change.
Responsible to guarantee component development timeline and budget, and analyze technical issues with suppliers.
Prepare BoM and manual assembly (PDM) release accountable.
About You Degree in Engineering.
At least 8 years' experience in electric drive design/development.
Experience in e-drive components mechanical and electrical design and production processes.
Good knowledge of Pro-Engineer tools for thermal and mechanical analysis (i.e., FEM).
Fully proficient in English; German is a plus but not mandatory.
Flexibility (modifications, re-planning, coordination with other units).
Teamwork, also in the context of international teams.
