This position reports toQuality Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesYou will join the Laboratory team responsible for testing and certification of ABB low voltage products in the field of DIN-Rail, Wiring Accessories and Building Automation. In particular, you will mainly focus on products having significant electronics, software/firmware and digital features. The work model for the role is: #onsite. This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area in Vittuone. You will be mainly accountable for:
Define new testing procedures and test cases to functionally verify the software/firmware performances of products and their correct integration in wider and more complex ecosystems.Perform software tests on various types of products according to test plan, standards and safety rules, within the timeline assigned.Closely collaborate with the R&D and Quality engineers to develop the best technical solutions to address quality issue and reach the requested product performances.Perform analysis on experimental data, summarize the results and prepare technical test reports on completed activities.You will join a dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the roleEffective at working independently and in a team setting.Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.Knowledge in communication protocol (TCP/IP, Modbus, Profibus), PLC programming and communication protocols (TCP/IP, Modbus, Profibus) is a plus.Passionate about science and technology supported by a strong technical background.Master degree (5 years) in Computer, Electronic, Electrical or Automation engineering.Comfortable communicating in Italian (C2 level) and English (at least B2 level), both written and spoken.More about usWe value people from different backgrounds.
