R&D Team Lead
Your role and responsibilities
Working in a brand-new Agile organization, you will execute tests on different devices using your knowledge of standard references and testing methodologies, investigating and resolving critical product issues, optimizing processes, and verifying product compliance. In this role, you will analyze and document test results for use in the development of new products, as well as defining the details, test sequences, testing methods and procedures, and equipment and instrumentation to be used. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid. This role contributes to the ABB Electrification Business area, particularly for the Smart Power Division in Bergamo. The main stakeholder is the Research and Development Department. You will be mainly accountable for:
Planning and implementing test plans, assigning the right priority, and overseeing the allocated resources.Training new team members in test operations and processes.Preparing, reviewing, managing, and updating documents and databases.Proposing improvements to test techniques based on experience and knowledge of trends and equipment.Assisting external certification inspectors during testing activities for ABB products and external customer products.Ensuring that prototypes are correctly assembled, tests are correctly performed, and activities are thoroughly reported. Qualifications for the role High School Diploma in computer science.At least 1 year of experience in laboratory or R&D department, working as an operator with software testing and development.Ability to demonstrate experience with programming languages and cybersecurity.Knowledge of instrumentation and electronics.Qualified in executing the buildup of setup and system of testing.Collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.Comfortable communicating in Italian and English.
