We are looking for a R&D Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team on electrolyser and stack development and validation in Pisa, Italy. You'll be an integral part of the development process and will have a wide range of technical challenges to tackle. Be ready for a dynamic environment!

What role will you play in building a green hydrogen future? Setting up experimental tests and studies in the R&D department, elaborating test reports based on test plans and experimental measurements. You'll work independently on specific tasks but in synergy with other team members. You'll interface and communicate proficiently with other teams and departments because the R&D Team is the most interdisciplinary team in the company. Bring your critical approach to daily problems. What do you need to help make our goals a reality? First things first: Enthusiasm for the part green hydrogen will play in tomorrow's world and Enapter's role in it. At least a Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Chemical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Energy Engineering, or Electronic Engineering. At least 3 years of working experience in the Engineering field, preferably in R&D departments. Hands-on approach to running experiments in which both mechanical and electrical components are used. Excellent knowledge of wide engineering principles (thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, mechanical and electrical principles). Good knowledge of industrial sensors, data acquisition, and communication protocols. Good knowledge of mechanical components and assemblies. Experience handling hydrogen or similar gases will speed up your onboarding. Experience in prototyping and experimental setup is strongly recommended. Being able to develop new ideas into practical and measurable deliverables. MS Office pack knowledge is a must. Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Matlab is recommended. Fluent English, communication skills in Italian is optional and considered only a plus.
