**About the role**:
The R&D (Research and Development) Technician conducts the technical support and laboratory work to assist in the implementation of projects and initiatives considering all safety regulations and company standards.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Ensure that all activities conform to legislative, Health and Safety and Environmental requirements, including the adoption and tracking of laboratory best practices.
- Responsible for the maintenance of his/her laboratory equipment and working space, keeping inventory, and ordering items when required.
- Responsible for a proper operation, standardization & maintenance of lab equipment
- Maintain accurate and updated laboratory notebooks, while keep an accurate documentation of test results.
- Participate and support projects and teams on defined task.
- Run technical laboratory tests and activities according to project development, e.g. performance, stability, produce laboratory or pilot samples, etc.
- Suggest improvement on defined processes or management of the laboratory.
- Have a collaborative approve with and within the team(s).
**The experience we're looking for**:
- Be qualified at least with school diploma in relevant professional areas (i.e. Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent education level
- Technical experience in one or more related Research & Development area is advantageous
- Ability to understand requirements of laboratory activities to support product development
- Understanding physical and chemical risks of R&D area
- Ability to report activities accurately and in line with laboratory practice
- At least basic Microsoft Office skill level
- Basic knowledge of English is preferred, advanced Italian language skills.
