Your role and responsibilitiesWe are actively seeking a Software Engineer with a proven track record in cloud-based web applications, preferably backed by a background in DevOps, Azure, and Cyber Security. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cutting-edge applications within the Digital Agile Unit. This role specifically focuses on Cloud platforms, SW applications, and IoT solutions. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Optimizing designs by identifying the best technical solutions, including services, architectural choices, and technical details. The emphasis will be on maximizing integration among software applications and the hardware/smart devices they interact with.Proficiency in the Scrum methodology, encompassing Epics, Features, User Stories, and Bugs, is a prerequisite. The candidate will actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, collaborating closely with Dev and Test Teams.Strong knowledge of software engineering and techniques for verifying software quality, such as code reviews, static analysis, and the use of metrics, is crucial for building reliable applications.Cyber Security skills are essential, as the Security Development Lifecycle is integral to developing and delivering solutions that appropriately address security requirements.Competencies in database management, including the design and optimization of database structures, stored procedures, and the use of modern libraries, are highly preferred.Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in both front-end and back-end development, including knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side languages such as Node.js or Python.You have at least 5 years of experience with cloud-based development and deployment, including the use of cloud services such as Azure (mainly) or AWS.Possess an enhanced knowledge of microservices architecture and the use of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with version control systems such as Git.You are innovative around problem-solving and Agile methodologies.
