In this role you will be able to put theory into practice by contributing to our projects, from Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) up to the implementation of the Eco-design principles in new product developments. Holding this position will enable you to interface with various key stakeholders from both our Competence Centers and Manufacturing Units spread around the globe.Your responsibilitiesAssess the environmental impacts of a product throughout its entire life cycle (LCA), starting from the development phase.Contribute to the identification implementation of the Eco-design principles (and related KPIs) applicable to new product development with the goal of optimizing their environmental performances.Stay abreast of trends best practices in the field of Eco-design Product Sustainability.Contribute to Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) preparation verification activities.Collect analyze large volumes of data from diverse sources to evaluate the environmental impacts of design choices identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation.Perform assigned tasks including definition, approach, analysis, review, and implementation on schedule and within budget.Cooperate with other functions departments contributing to the division Sustainability Targets achievement.Your backgroundA bachelor's or higher degree in electrical / mechanical or relevant sciences.1-4 years of experience in product design development, quality, value engineering, costing.Experience in LCA modeling software (SimaPro as a plus).Experience on Eco-design and Life Cycle Thinking projects.Knowledge and passion about Circularity and Sustainability.Highly motivated team-player with a collaborative, learning solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.More about usWe look forward to receiving your application.
