Your Role We are seeking a highly motivated Packaging Project Leader to spearhead our packaging initiatives and drive innovation in packaging design and development.
As the Packaging Project Leader, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing projects from concept to execution, and ensuring the successful delivery of packaging solutions that meet quality standards, regulatory requirements and business objectives.
Your Impact Lead end-to-end packaging projects, including project planning, timeline management and risk assessment, to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of packaging solutions for each Product in development; address possible external design and involved competencies in order to achieve expected result in term of development KPI's (Customer Experience, Perceived Quality, Time, Cost).
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, mainly product development, style center, marketing, purchasing, and logistic teams, to align packaging strategies with product goals and overall business objectives.
Grant the development of innovative packaging concept and structural design that enhance brand identity, consumer experience and product differentiation.
Collaborate with Product Development and Purchasing Office to Identify and evaluate packaging materials, suppliers, and manufacturing partners, considering factors such as cost, quality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure that packaging designs and materials comply with relevant regulations, standards, and certifications, such as FDA, ASTM, ISTA, and environmental sustainability requirements.
Anticipate and mitigate potential risks and challenges throughout the packaging project lifecycle, technical issues, and regulatory changes.
About You Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical.
What you should bring: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Qualification in Sustainable Packaging Design & Engineering is an advantage.
3-5 years of experience in packaging project management, preferably in the consumer goods, retail, or packaging industry.
Demonstrated expertise in packaging design, materials, printing processes, and manufacturing technologies.
Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing concurrent multiple projects.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross functional team management skills.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to packaging, labeling, and environmental sustainability.
Knowledge of mechanical design and expert user of 3D CAD systems, preferably PTC Creo 9 and skilled in modelling solids and surfaces.
Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Wellness and sporty.
A personal experience / passion for fitness and / or sport specific disciplines is an advantage.
