This job position concerns the support of the R&D Engineering Responsible in the daily management activities. The R&D in Turin is strictly linked to TAS product lines and, in particular, in human and robotic exploration and scientific satellites and payloads. The projects can be completely internally funded or cofunded by public institutions, thus it may be required also the support in the balance reports. The R&D focuses mainly on the development of products, so the preparation of business models and technological roadmaps are crucial to select the more strategic technologies and building blocks to invest in. In addition to the involvement in the R&D, this job position includes the support in the coordination of the Engineering Laboratory Area and the support in the acquisition and maintenance of CAPEX and OPEX (e.g. licenses renewal and acquisition, instrumentation upgrading, etc.). The candidate shall operate inside a R&D core team, therefore she/he shall have peculiar communication skills, a pro-active attitude in facing and solving problems, and an inclination to teamwork. Key duties: Act as a member of the R&D team and Engineering Technological Areas Support to coordinate the R&D and the Engineering Technological Areas Support the organization and coordination of the main R&D project reviews Support to the Planning of Technical Activities in order to meet the R&D program schedule Support to the implementation of Design and Development applicable processes Support to the engineering activities control in consistency with time, cost, and performances required Handle the relationships with external partners (industrial and academic) Support the CAPEX and OPEX investments Prepare business models and technological roadmaps, when necessary Skills, experience and qualifications required: Master's degree in Management Engineering preferred Able to manage multiple tasks at one time Good will in facing and learning new things Fluent English (spoken and written) Good attitude towards teamwork and multi-disciplinary approaches Available to work in shifts if requested by the Program Respect of Company hierarchy, rules, and discipline Attitude to work respecting budgets and schedule constraints Location: Torino (Italy) At Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
