Business Overview MacDermid Enthone Industrial Solutions is a global supplier of industrial metal and plastic finishing chemistries. We primarily design and manufacture chemical systems that protect and decorate surfaces. Our high-performance functional coatings improve resistance to wear and tear, such as hard chrome plating of shock absorbers for cars or provide corrosion resistance for appliance parts. Job Purpose The resource, reporting to the R&D DPM Manager, will be responsible for the organization and implementation of R&D projects in collaboration with a team. They will also be responsible for documentation and presentation of results. Job Responsibilities Development of new processes with focus on DPM (Precious Metal). Improvement of existing electroplating and surface technology processes. Creation of formulations and technical information. Testing and qualification of raw materials. Development of R&D projects both independently and collaboratively with local and global teams. Practical start of newly designed processes. Supporting new products introduction in production and in customer applications. Implementation and coordination of specific development projects based on customer needs. Planning, executing and evaluating coating tests at laboratory and pilot plant scale. Report creation and result presentation. Scientific orientation and dialog in project work. Presentation and documentation of project progress. Monitoring patent, technical literature and implementing proposal in projects. Advise and inform colleagues about new procedures. Participation in symposium and lecture events. Presentations at internal and external events.
