This position reports to

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to successful project results in technology, product and solution development, as well as associated Intellectual Property (IP).
Each day, you will act as the first point of contact in Research and Development for specific product-related issues and maintenance.
You will also showcase your expertise by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid.
This role contributes to the Medium Voltage Grid Components business line within the Electrification Distribution Solutions Division in Italy.
Main stakeholders are Technology Management, Product Management, Product Marketing, Factory Operations and Quality departments.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools and methodologies into your work.
Finding new ways of addressing customer needs and solving problems, by following your ideas, creating hypotheses (i.e.
designs and prototypes), and defining ways to validate them (e.g.
tests).
Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or test results), allowing others to maintain and improve them.
Providing consulting services to business operations and customers.
Qualifications for the role You enjoy working with designing, prototyping and testing mechanical and/or electrical components.
You have 2+ years of experience in the electromechanical industry, preferably working as an engineer/designer of medium voltage products; You possess extensive knowledge of mechanics/materials and electrical design; You are proficient in operating with CAD (preferably SolidWorks) and PLM (preferably Windchill) software and capable of reading 2D drawings and electrical diagrams.
You are passionate about creating solutions from scratch and you have strong written and spoken communication skills.
You are at ease communicating in Italian and English languages, both written and spoken.
