R&D Director - Make-Up Contract Manufacturer

Job DescriptionThe new manager is a leader with solid experience in developing different make up products such as foundation, concealer, lipstick, and powders.This person has comprehensive expertise in the entire product development cycle, encompassing formulation, packaging, and filling.Additionally, he/she will be responsible for leading the scale up process of the upcoming products.Provide strategic leadership and direction for the cosmetics R&D team, aligning research and development efforts with company goals and objectives.Lead the development of innovative cosmetic formulations and products, leveraging scientific expertise and market insights to drive growth and competitive advantage (foundation, concealer, lipstick, and powders)Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, manufacturing, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure seamless product development and launch processes.Be updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments in cosmetics.Manage R&D budgets, resources, and time lines effectively to meet project goals and milestones.Build and maintain relationships with external partners, suppliers, research institutions, and industry experts to enhance R&D capabilities and access new opportunities.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for cosmetics safety, quality, and labelling.Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and training teams, as needed.
