We are looking for aConformity of Production Engineerto join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the Head of QA Assembly.
You will be responsible for the execution of CoP (Conformity of Production) tests following internal test instructions and planning in conformity with legal requirements in the world (EU, China, USA & other markets) for vehicles in production.
You will:
Interact with CoP Project Leader and Homologation department to setup the yearly control plan
Set up a detailed yearly control plan in compliance with CoP requirements and make sure the implementation and maintenance
Plan and request, with involved departments, availability of the vehicles and components to be involved during CoP tests
Arrange vehicle and components shipment for CoP scope
Plan, perform or request tests according to the regulations
Monitor tests performed internally and by external facilities, check and store test results
In case of non-conformities, start the escalation process and verify implementation of corrective actions and related documents
When requested, create annual reports regarding the Conformity of Production and agrees this with the involved Departments; (e.g.: CoP Executive Report).
Ensure the fulfillment of the requirements for external audits
Support the departments in the organization of Conformity of Production external audits
Act as interface with VW Audi Group and external auditors for CoP issues
Support the CoP Project Leader on the creation of Test Instructions and reports
Plan yearly budget for tests in scope, request offers, start the bidding process and inserts RdA, monitor the budget along the year
Organize and ensure the fulfillment of homologation requirements in series production (e.g. Visual Inspection)
As far as concerns committees & meetings, you will be involved with:
Regular alignments with Homologation Department, with Laboratory and with GQ Management
Internal Departments (all) – especially referent people
External Auditors
VW Audi Group – structures in charge of CoP issues
Suppliers (e.g. test facilities, etc.)
About you
Mechanical Engineering or similar degree
Experience in Automotive in homologation, conformity of production tests or technical areas
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, technical reporting, requirements, components and tools
Experience in working and dealing with cross functional department
English knowledge, German will be considered a plus
