What You'll Be Doing In this role, you'll contribute to the development of novel QPU architectures based on superconducting qubits.
You will work within the Theory & Modeling Team to model quantum dynamics of the system and improve quantum operations fidelity.
By working side by side with experimentalists, you will focus on device-level physics to provide insight and inform the design of novel QPU based on our proprietary platform.
Your tasks will include: • Developing models of entangling gates on QPUs and performing pulse-level dynamic simulations.
Designing techniques for optimal control to improve quantum gates performance in multiple configurations Performing computational modeling and simulations and numerical analysis to predict quantum dynamics and optimize experimental activities.
Disseminate scientific results within the Team and, when appropriate, in scientific journals Requirements PhD in Physics or related subject.
Deep understanding of solid-state hardware platforms for quantum technologies (superconducting circuits, semiconductors).
Advanced knowledge of quantum computation and quantum information.
Nice to have: postdoctoral experience in a high-quality research environment.
