What You'll Be Doing You'll work to advance the design of novel QPU architectures based on superconducting qubits. In this role you will work side by side with the Theory & Modeling team and act as a liaison officer with our R&D partners to fast-track experimental activities.
Your tasks will include:
Developing CAD designs for new superconducting circuit layouts Performing FEM electromagnetic simulations Supporting cryogenic RF characterization of superconducting devices Requirements PhD in Experimental Physics or Electronic engineering. Candidates nearing the end of their PhD studies are also welcome to apply. Experience in at least one of the following: RF measurements, cryogenic setups, superconducting devices, circuit QED. Nice to have: Previous experience with cleanroom fabrication processes and FEM electromagnetic solvers (Ansys, etc).
