The essence of the role covers not only processes of sampling, swabbing, and product testing, but also development of documentation and techniques which guarantee satisfactory quality of products and services.
Ways you will make a differenceResponsible for daily paperwork (tracking, issuing deviations, filing, etc.)Assists with setting up and preparing for the Product Evaluation System Meeting (PES), Quality Assurance Review (QAR), reviewing and sampling of product from the facilityReviews film, cartons, and cases for accuracy from incoming material shipments and documents findings in ExcelCompletes verification/calibration of lab equipment such as thermometers, moisture analyzers, and package leak detectors.Collects environmental, validation, and allergen swabs as neededPrepares samples for shipping or courier pick-upUses good time management and decision-making skills to assist key personnel in resolving or minimizing out-of-specification conditions and foreign substance contamination of raw materials, in-process, and finished products through observation, identification, notification, documentation, isolation, audit, and dispositionConducts and coordinates data collection for Corporate projects, special projects, trials, or studies as required.Assists in development, implementation, and monitoring of ongoing food safety programsMaintains various Food Safety (Sanitation, Quality, Pest Control, HACCP) data, manuals, documents, and filesKeep yourself and others safe.
