Quality Specialist This position reports to Quality Manager
Your role and responsibilities We are looking for a Quality Specialist to join our Electrification Business Area, Smart Power Division, PG Breakers and Enclosures. This role is contributing to the Quality Department in Garbagnate Monastero. In this role, you will be responsible for the quality of products according to the required technical specifications, during product development and/or active products technical improvement. The work model for the role is: #hybrid. You will be mainly accountable for:
Acting as point of reference for suppliers during the process audits to ensure the compliance of working practice and procedures for customers during visits/audits on the production plant. Managing non-conformity incidents, cooperating closely with other business functions and suppliers. Managing all quality data accurately to better understand the status quo and prevent future non-conformities as part of continuous improvement. Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety, and timing requirements. Promoting Qwins methodology in the factory. Qualifications for the role Master's degree in Mechanical or Management Engineering. Highly skilled in working with manufacturing technologies, quality control processes and methodologies, and statistical analysis. Possess enhanced knowledge of MS Office; SAP knowledge would be considered a plus. Knowledge of lean manufacturing is appreciated. Positive spirit, proactivity, team working, speediness, and problem-solving orientation; commitment to deliver results by taking responsibility to execute assigned tasks and projects.
