Company Description SICIM is a Construction Company established in 1962 and offering all types of services related to the installation of pipelines and relevant ancillary facilities for the transmission and distribution of oil, gas and water on an international basis. Position Sicim is currently looking for a Quality Manager for our project based in Iraq. The person should carry on the following activities: Manages QA/QC department Interface with Client representative for QA/QC Matter Coordinates QA/QC Engineers, officers, Coordinators, Inspectors at field. Cooperate with Procurement Department reviewing procured material ITP Cooperate in the follow-up of the Material Inspection Activity with project Expeditors Ensures compliance with Client requirements both of the activities and of the QA/QC Mng system. Coordinates training on QA/QC issues and perform (or assign resource to perform) basic training as well. Produces/Develop documentation with regards to QA/QC in the SOW activities such as: Project Quality Plan / Objectives (with support/approval of Corporate Q mng) QA/QC procedures, Method Statement (QA/QC Part) and Quality Control Plan (QCP). Develop Audit Plan – Survey the correct development of Welding activities by exercising control on the Project Welding Coordinator / Engineer Implement Corporate guidelines related Reporting and feed-back, Auditing and inspections Check the correct collection of record to achieve mechanical Collection and form QAQC part of the Project Final Dossier Requirements The candidate should have: A bachelor's or equivalent degree in Engineering (better if mechanic field) or related discipline from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of project experience in the oil/gas industry. Five (5) years experience as QA/QC Manager Technical certifications such as ASNT, AWS or ASQ. Fully familiar with the requirements of ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems and able to develop, maintain and implement a QMS in accordance with that standard. Experience on large-scale oil & gas and/or petrochemical capital / EPC projects. Fluent in English with strong written and oral communication skills.
