Dayco at a glance: global leader in the research, design, manufacture and distribution of essential engine drive systems and aftermarket services for automotive, truck, construction, agriculture and industrial applications.115 years of experience, 40 locations in 22 countries: these are the keys for our global success.Dayco works as a Global Team every day to raise the bar and provide more and more integrated solutions for Hybridization, optimizing the Control Logic of the Electric Machine performance and pursuing a Smart System Management that reduces the CO2 emissions.In order to strengthen our Quality Team, we are looking for a:Quality Improvement EngineerPositionMain responsabilities of the resource will be: - To identify area of improvements starting from the analysis of performance indicators and the data collected during production runs; - To define and lead working groups, interacting with different business functions, to analyze issues and determine the root causes using problem-solving methodology; - To manage, updateand archive progression plans for improvement activities; - To draft summary reports of improvement activities reporting the effectiveness of solutions to the team and to management; - To ensure timely monitoring and reporting analysis for Quality related KPI - To cooperate with process control team in daily production support activities, providing guidance on effective problem-solving methodologies - To periodically review, perform statistical analysis and maintain records of quality control measures performed on production lines - To collaborate in the updating and development of the system for the management of data on product quality, - To collaborate and performs periodic audits on products and processes, to identify anomalies and non-conformities to the standards - To participate in Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP)RequirementsThe requirements for this position are: - Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar training; - Five or more years of experience in this role; - Knowledge of the main problem solving's tool; - Knowledge of the fundamentals of statistic; - Fluent in English; - Good communications and relationship skills; - A good level of autonomyMore InformationsWhat we offer: a permanent contract, a dynamic and fast-growing business, a lean organization where you have the chance to be visible and appreciated by the top management, a global approach to people management.
