Job Summary We are currently looking for a Quality Engineer, to join our Project Team based in Vignate (Milan), with focus on highly Engineered compressors and accessories for Oil and Gas applications and market.
The candidate will have the opportunity to execute Quality activities within the project assignments received by the Project Quality Manager.
Responsibilities and duties Interface and execute work activities between Quality and other Project disciplines (Project Management, Engineering, Operations)Support to the Project Team (Project Management, Project Engineering, Purchasing) for quality related aspectsManage activities relating to the verification of the quality and conformity of intermediate and finished products.Collect and review Supplier quality documentationCompile the Manufacturer Data Records (MDR) during the project development up to the final completionVerify the conformity of the material in house and at the suppliers' premisesRequirements and skills Experience in Quality Assurance/ Quality Control and related tools (ITP, NC, CAR, RCA) is a mustExcellent verbal and writing skills in Italian languageExperience in mechanical / rotating machinery sector is a plusBasic knowledge of mechanical drawings readingsExperienced in inspection, hydrotests, NDE is a strong plusAct with autonomy and responsibilityAbility to interact effectively with suppliers and customersOrganize your work respecting deadlines and commitmentsAttitude to work in a team, develop and maintain positive relationshipsStrong relational and communication skills, precision, planning skillsTravel & Work Arrangements/Requirements Approx. 80% of office, 20% travelling mainly in Lombardy area, at supplier's sites.
