As a Quality Control Technician, you will perform the analysis according to the Quality-Safety Environmental procedures for our plant in Caronno Pertusella.
Reporting to the Quality Control Lab Manager, you will:
Perform chemical, physical testing and sensory evaluations of raw materials, intermediates and finished products.Perform basic equipment calibrations per frequency noted in calibration procedures.Perform instruments, equipment and quality deviations troubleshooting in the laboratory.Maintain a hygienic and safe work environment.Provide backup and support to team members as necessary.Identify opportunities for improvements in QC and set proactive measures for trouble prevention.Store raw data and retained samples.Purchase consumables for analysis.Clean the glassware and manage special waste.Your professional profile includes:
Degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical, Food science or in a related discipline.Overall work experience of 3 to 5 years in a Chemical Lab.Operational experience and strong affinity with laboratory systems, analytical instruments such as GC, GC-MS, HPLC, UV, TLC and Sensory tests.Knowledge of chemical substances, hazardous materials and laboratory safety.Previous experience in botanicals and sensory tests preferred.Team-oriented.Precision and planning ability.Passion and flexibility in working.Microsoft Office proficiency and independence in PC usage.Proficiency in both English and Italian languages.At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
