Quality Control Manager (Consumer Goods/Fragrance/Flavor) Responsibilities • Plan & implement Quality Control initiatives to ensure a high-performance operation
• Support Quality Control lab technicians in a manufacturing environment
• Oversee the daily inspection of raw materials and production samples
• Analyze test results and offer interpretations to the production team
• Support with root cause analysis to identify and resolve production challenges
• Develop & implement procedures to improve the quality of the manufacturing process
• Maintain department documentation of testing procedures, methodologies, and SOPs
• Oversee the documentation of test results, defects identified, & other key metrics
• Report on production quality and nonconformance
• Serve as a hands-on thought leader and mentor
• Facilitate communication across production departments and senior management
• Stay up to date on industry trends, developments, and technological advances related to QC
Quality Control Manager (Consumer Goods/Fragrance/Flavor) Qualifications • Bachelor's degree required; Chemistry or related discipline is preferred
• 5+ years of Quality Control experience in consumer goods manufacturing is required
• Prior leadership experience is required
• Understanding of GC MS laboratory analysis is required
• Tech savvy and comfortable learning new software & computer systems is required
• Ability to work 100% on-site is required
