Location: near Garland, TX Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Benefits Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k with Match, PTO, Paid Holidays Job Type: Full-Time Travel: 5-10% (primarily domestic, on rare occasion to visit an international supplier) Start Date: ASAP Sponsorship is not available Quality & Compliance Engineer Description Our client in the industrial wholesale & supply industry is looking for a Quality & Compliance Engineer to join their team near Garland, TX. In this new role, you will support our clients' expansion into the automotive supplier market by maintaining quality standards across products and processes. You'll work closely with customers and suppliers to drive process improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards. Our client is seeking someone with at least five (5) years of quality and compliance engineering experience in automotive manufacturing, experienced in PPAP and its associated documentation, and interfacing with suppliers and customers' quality representatives. Qualified candidates will also have experience with Quality Management Systems and related administrative responsibilities, including internal auditing. Quality & Compliance Engineer Responsibilities Lead and organize customer complaints and investigationsProvide material review dispositions for non-conformancesParticipate in continuous improvement initiativesMaintain document control systemsReview, prepare and submit automotive industry PPAPsInitiate, resolve and track supplier corrective actions and prepare supplier scorecardsConduct internal audits and support third-party surveillance and compliance auditsPrepare reports on quality activities and KPIs Quality & Compliance Engineer Qualifications 5+ years of quality and compliance in automotive manufacturing experience required1+ years of internal auditing experience requiredExperience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) requiredExperience with PPAP and associated documentation requiredProficient in data mining, extraction, manipulation and interpretation requiredPossession of valid passport or the ability to obtain upon hire required
