- Establish a close working relationship with Production, Development and Commercialization teams to ensure brand right quality.
- Conduct in-line and final inspection with providing appropriate documented reports through QCI
- Point person in terms of quality training for Vendors' auditors (VQP, vendor quality program).
- Work closely with Vendors to ensure clear flow of information and product understanding
- Ensure finished products are in compliance with all design specifications and meet all required quality standards.
- Report on factory Quality performance, carryout risk analysis of supply vendors and formulate corrective action plans where required.
- Support and advise Production and Compliance team in new factory evaluations when required
Ensure All Ralph Lauren requirements are understood and fulfilled by factory auditors
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaise with Quality Management and Production teams on impact of failed audits, escalate, review and follow up on quality issues, with providing documented factual report.
- Work with product departments and vendors during seasonal cycles to anticipate, prevent and resolve quality problems.
- Take an active part to define and advise on standards
- Set and communicate quality requirements, inspection policies and procedures to new factories to ensure that production will meet company's requirement.
- Report / Escalate to Management any changes or issues faced in factories which could have an impact on the compliance/social
- Provide comments and direction on quality issues if they arise
- Collect relevant product technical information to support updates to product manual
- Follow up with factories on any DC inspection quality callouts
- Evaluate Vendor auditors performance and the effectiveness of training programs, providing recommendations for improvement.
Experience, Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the same role
- Ability to work, influence and build relationships across multiple teams and at various levels of the organization.
- Focus on details, passionate and results oriented
- Good communication skills
