At our offices in Milan or Caserta area (Italy) we are currently seeking for an experienced and dynamic Quality Manager Italy .
Location: Milan or Naples area (100% office based).
Scope : Italy.
Reports to: Managing Director, Eurotranspharma Italia.
Main objective The Quality Manager is responsible for setting up and maintaining the Quality Management System for Eurotranspharma (ETP), in Italy.
They will receive the Quality Manual of other European countries where ETP is present and adapt to the local requirements in Italy.
The role reports in dotted line to the Quality & CSR Director GDP Transport, ETP.
Key responsibilities / Results Responsible for managing all quality procedures of the transport network in Italy, ensuring that all distribution activities are carried out in accordance with GDP, and ISO 9001 standards.
To ensure an effective quality management system for GDP activities by following up: deviations, CAPA, complaints, self-inspections, annual checks, ...
Ensuring on the management of authorised activities and the accuracy and quality of records.
Responsible for continuous improvements in the QA department.
Responsible for providing GDP training and guidance, QA and RISK Analyses, as well as to set up training programs, in alignment with other countries where ETP is already present.
To participate to meetings with customers, as well as provide reports to customers and management.
To perform reviews on quality agreements, quality procedures, etc.
and edit Quality Agreement with clients after Audit and CAPA plan.
Responsible for performing regularly 'Quality on the floor' checks, inspections, self-inspections, self-inspection plans and audits and follow them up from A to Z.
To ensure that suppliers and customers are approved; approving any subcontracted activities which may impact on GDP.
To coordinate and promptly perform any recall operations for products.
Responsible for performing administrative releases for clients (if applicable) and return management.
Deciding on the final disposition after discussion with the client of returned, rejected, recalled or falsified products.
Ensuring that relevant GDP related complaints and deviations are handled and dealt with effectively.
Ensuring that self-inspections are performed at appropriate regular intervals following a prearranged programme and necessary corrective measures are put in place.
Keeping appropriate records of any delegated duties.
Ensuring that any additional requirements imposed on certain products by national law are adhered to.
Responsible for applying high ethical standards and professional conduct with clients and with the Healthcare Authorities.
The QM is 24 hours and 7 days a week continuously contactable; they may delegate duties but not responsibilities.
The QM has the responsibility to act safely and environmentally consciously.

Experience Minimum 8 years of QA-related experience.
The QM should have appropriate training, competence and experience in GDP.
Previous managerial experience as successful people manager.
Skills & competencies Familiarity with Transport Legislation and transport activity in Italy, GDP best practice processes, Quality systems, and tools.
Logistics system knowledge and good understanding of ERP and WMS/TMS systems, as well as other business supporting IT tools.
Hands-on team player with a deep sense of responsibility.
Used at acting quickly and pragmatically, to anticipate and avoid issues, or solve them effectively when they arise.
Quality orientation, reliability and honesty.
Project management ability.
Languages (written and spoken): Italian native; English fluent; French is a plus.
Education Master's degree in a relevant field (Engineering/ Logistics & Transportation/ Economics & business management).
