Job Description The Quality and Regulatory Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products, photoelectric sensors, safety light curtains, ultrasonic sensors, etc.
comply with European Directive and International Standards.
This position will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting audits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
The Candidate is responsible for: Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines affecting the data acquisition industry; Ensure company compliance with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., RoHS, Reach, Conflict Mineral, WEEE/RAEE); Prepare and submit regulatory documents and reports to relevant authorities as required; Liaise with regulatory bodies and respond to inquiries or inspections; Managing the periodical audit from certification bodies (UL, TUEV, CSA, etc.)
and the interaction with them during certification projects; EMC certification of products with tests performed in internal and external laboratories; Preparation of the technical file and Declaration of Conformity.
Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments related to quality and regulatory compliance; Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies; Ensure all risk management activities are documented and reported.
Training and Development: Provide training to staff on quality and regulatory compliance requirements; Develop training materials and conduct regular training sessions; Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance quality and compliance; Participate in cross-functional teams to address quality and regulatory issues; Support the development and implementation of new data acquisition technologies and methodologies with a focus on quality and compliance.
Requirements: Education: Bachelor/Master Degree in Electronic Engineering or Scientific Degree.
Languages: Italian and English.
Experience: 3 or more years in Quality Department of Electronic/Automotive Industries.
Tools: Quality Management Systems (QMS): ISO 9001: Understanding and implementing ISO 9001 standards for quality management.
SAP Process Improvement Tools: Familiarity with Six Sigma tools (e.g., Minitab) and methodologies (e.g., DMAIC).
Reporting and Analytics Tools: Proficiency in using tools like Power BI or Excel for generating and analyzing quality metrics and trends.
