Logoplaste is currently seeking to recruit a Quality/Health & Safety (QHSE) Coordinator to join the team in Rome, NY (USA).
Reporting to: Production Manager
The QHSE Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the plants' Health & Safety, Quality Management and Environmental Systems.
Key Tasks & ActivitiesAuditing/Systems: Performs risk assessmentsParticipates in Health & Safety meetingsPerforms Internal AuditingAnalyzes Monthly HSE KPI statisticsUpdates the ISO 18001 H&S systemQuality Control: Performs first off checksPerforms Internal AuditingUpdates IMTE calibrationsReports Monthly KPI DataUpdates Intravista system regarding BRC, Health, Safety and Environmental global standardsAdministration/Reporting: Reports Near missesEstablishes (RCA) Root Cause Analysis and closureWho we are looking forBackground and Experience: 1-3 years of Health & Safety and Environmental knowledge1-3 years of Product Quality Testing ExperienceComputer LiteracyInterpersonal Skills: Work is moderately supervisedWork is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracyDevelops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexitySupervisory approval is obtained on situations where practices and procedures do not exist or where deviations to existing procedures occurAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
