QA Testing IT, Sr Manager Job Location: Chicago Want to make an impact? The Quality Assurance, IT Sr. Manager will play a crucial role in devising the testing strategy across multiple testing phases in the Quality environment of Ferrara Symphony project implementation. As the Testing lead following Hybrid methodology of implementation, one needs to devise comprehensive end-to-end process and technical development testing strategies, including the design of testing frameworks tailored for SAP S/4HANA, IBP, Ariba, Analytics, and other integrating edge applications.
Responsibilities Liaise with internal and external vendors/partners for testing end-to-end business processes, design and test plan reviews, and provide appropriate recommendations.
Develop and maintain testing frameworks, tools, and processes.
A problem solver with attention to details.
The scope of testing spans integration tests, data conversion cycles, user acceptance tests, day-in-the-life testing involving functional, technical test case development and testing, regression testing, defect management, and test cases for current and future ensuring thorough quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. Also design negative tests, as necessary and applicable.
Set up the testing framework for sustainment going forward and for subsequent phased implementations and projects.

Devising comprehensive testing strategy and framework across all facets of testing - integration, UAT, day in the life (DIL), mock data cutover.
Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of test activities.
Strong knowledge of various testing methodologies and tools.
Optimizing project lifecycles, smart issue management, enhancing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) experience in configuring and managing SAP Solution Manager/cloud ALM, focusing on ChaRM/ "Feature" with Transports and monitoring of objects.
Effectively lead and work with cross-functional teams – being able to align regularly with business stakeholders, IT team colleagues, project management office, system integration partners, external partner applications, and acquired business partners/IT constituents.
Playing lead role in S/4HANA Transformation - proficient in leading S/4HANA projects during testing phases.

Perform risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
Hybrid (Agile/Waterfall) methodology for greenfield project implementations preferred.
HP ALM configuration and managing change management, health monitoring experience is nice to have.
