Your mission
You will be part of a cross-functional team of infrastructure engineers, backend developers, frontend developers, data scientists and data engineers, working on Vedrai's software products. We are looking for someone who understands and can contribute to our software development life cycle. You will be the champion that will take our software quality metrics to the next level, and help us provide the best possible product experience to our users, in terms of security, performance, stability, and availability.
Your responsibilities Design and implement fully automated test suites, CI/CD pipelines, and tools for our product teams.Identify and clearly document new defects and their impact, while advocating their resolution with developers.Continuously measure and monitor our software to identify potential regressions and opportunities for improvement.Collaborate with product engineers to troubleshoot and resolve them successfully.Communicate the quality and health metrics regularly to the product team.Your super skills Curiosity and open-mindedness toward the ideas of others.Passion for technology and the art of crafting software.Desire to learn new things and share them with other people.Desire to grow professionally, improve and challenge oneself, always demonstrating great proactivity.Excellent ability to work and communicate with technical and non-technical team members.Unyielding passion for making great products, no matter how challenging it might be.Uncompromising when it comes to security.Your experience Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role, working on software products.Professional experience in programming in at least one of these languages: Python, JavaScript, or Bash.Professional experience with CI/CD pipeline software (e.g. Gitlab CI, Github Actions).Professional experience in designing and developing different types of tests: e.g. load testing, soak testing, performance testing, etc.Knowledge of one or more distributed version control systems (e.g., Git).Ability to write comprehensive and clear defect reports and RFEs.Ability to write readable, clear, and complete technical documentation.Nice to have Bachelor's degree with a scientific focus.Experience with automation frameworks (e.g. Ansible, Playwright, Robot Framework, etc.).Experience as a developer or administrator on private and public clouds (such as AWS).Any relevant and certified training in continuous improvement frameworks (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).Experience with Big Data and Artificial Intelligence technologies.Why Vedrai?
