We are seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee a team of both manual and automation testers, driving quality across all stages of development and testing. This role involves both strategic leadership and hands-on contributions, with a strong focus on automation for web and client-server applications. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing and mentoring QA teams, proficient in automation tools, and experienced in performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who ensures the highest standards of quality and performance.

Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and support a team of manual and automation QA testers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment. Performance Management: Oversee and evaluate team performance, conducting regular one-on-ones, performance reviews, and setting development goals. Automation Strategy: Design, develop, and maintain an effective automation testing strategy for web and client-server applications to ensure efficiency and reliability. Test Execution: Develop and execute automated test scripts, including performance, load, and stress testing using tools such as JMeter. Defect Management: Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot software defects, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly. Test Planning and Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring thorough coverage and traceability. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to integrate quality assurance processes and promote best practices across the software development lifecycle. Cloud Environment Testing: Ensure robust and scalable testing strategies in cloud environments to support seamless functionality and performance. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve testing methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance quality and efficiency. Technical Guidance: Provide hands-on support and guidance to the QA team, sharing best practices and ensuring adherence to industry standards. Requirements: Experience: 6-8 years of experience in QA testing, with a strong focus on automation, and at least 2 years in a lead or management role. Technical Skills: Proficient in automation testing for web applications, with experience in client-server applications and cloud-based environments. Performance Testing Expertise: Skilled in automated performance, load, and stress testing, with proficiency in tools such as JMeter. Test Management: Strong background in developing and maintaining test plans, cases, and scripts. Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot complex defects and performance issues. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing and motivating a team. Self-Motivated: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to balance hands-on testing with management responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with additional automation and testing tools. Experience in continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
