Role Description : The PV Engineer will be responsible for the design, technical analysis, and optimization of utility-scale solar PV plants. The role involves close collaboration with development, construction, and operations teams to ensure the delivery of efficient, reliable, and compliant projects aligned with technical and regulatory standards.
Mission Technical Design : Develop and optimize layouts, electrical configurations, and technological solutions for utility-scale solar PV plants.
Feasibility Analysis : Conduct preliminary studies, energy production simulations (e.g., using PVsyst), and technical assessments to evaluate plant performance.
Technical Specifications : Define technical requirements for key components such as PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, and monitoring systems.
Development Support : Collaborate with the development team to assess environmental, technical, and regulatory constraints of selected sites.
Procurement Support : Assist the procurement team in evaluating technical proposals from suppliers and contractors.
Construction Support : Provide technical support during the construction phase to ensure proper implementation of project designs.
Performance Monitoring : Contribute to analyzing production data and resolving operational issues.
Technical Updates : Stay up to date with technological innovations, regulatory changes, and market trends in the solar PV sector.
Profile Education : Degree in Electrical, Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum [2-5 years] of experience in similar roles within the utility-scale solar PV sector.
Technical Skills :
Proficiency in simulation and design software (e.g., PVsyst, PVcase AutoCAD).
Strong knowledge of PV systems, local / international regulations, and technical standards (e.g., IEC, CEI).
Experience with energy storage systems (batteries) is a plus.
Languages : Proficient in written and spoken English. Soft Skills : Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork orientation.
Travel Availability : Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for site visits or technical meetings.
