Start Date: asap Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Manager with technical skills to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of procurement, including purchasing plant components, subcontractor services, energy, and services.
This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage procurement activities in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Your Background: Several years of professional experience in purchasing technical components and subcontractor services Assertiveness and strong negotiating skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions Fluent in written and spoken English, with excellent communication skills Basic knowledge of contract law, including general terms and conditions Technical skills for analyzing technical specifications Proficient in MS Office suite Flexibility, resilience, and commitment to achieving procurement objectives Experience in international projects is an advantage Your Responsibilities: Purchase plant components, subcontractor services, energy & services, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.
Process and evaluate supplier inquiries, managing the procurement process from inquiry to delivery.
Create and manage framework agreements, conducting contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Process orders and invoices efficiently, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Analyze procurement markets worldwide, identifying trends and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Develop alternative supplier sources to optimize the existing supplier portfolio and reduce dependency on single suppliers.
Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
Further develop purchasing processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain master data for articles, suppliers, and other relevant information in the procurement system.
