Belmond is hiring a Purchasing Agent Retail to reinforce the purchasing activities of our retail shops within the Southern Europe Region which includes Italy, Spain and Portugal.
Work Location will be primarily our Fiesole Area Office.
The role will report to the Area Director of Purchasing.
Primary Responsibilities: Interaction with the purchasing manager : · Make sure that all requirements are in place to start the business relationship such as supplier data and commission, definition between purchased or consignment, payment method, definition of items and quantity to be ordered, purchase price.
· Creation of the Order Form and sending it to the supplier.
· Creation of the sales item in conjunction with the order form.
· Entry of the sales price to be defined by the Retail Manager.
· Creation of the label with the sales price to be able to display the goods.
Logistics management of incoming goods, with data entry activities: · From suppliers to boutiques/warehouses · Among the Boutiques · Returns to suppliers · Support to Boutique Agents Reporting activities: · Stocks · Revenue: daily data entry activity · Handling (monitoring stock-outs, sell through, best sellers, slow sellers) · Inventories · End-of-month consumption and Revenue Sales report to be sent to suppliers Other: · Upgrade of Point Of Sales systems of boutiques and SPAs with the involvement and support of the IT department to reduce the work of manual data entry Requirements · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills · Accuracy of Data Entry · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Detail oriented and highly organized · Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks · Previous experience in a similar role is desirale · Good written and verbal communication skills · Good analytical and reasoning skills · Ability to think clearly under pressure · Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner · Ability to work effectively and relate well with senior management, colleagues and subordinates · English language essential Benefits At Belmond, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture built on kindness, active listening, and genuine connections with our colleagues and guests.
