PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Purchaser Intern will insert, update, and maintain accurate data on company systems. He/she works closely with the colleagues of the Purchasing Team.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIESHis/her main responsibilities are:
SAMPLES: Contact Vendors to give instructions on managing POs issued (grid + instructions). PO follow-up: ensure SMS are delivered on time and in the right quantity. Ensure that vendors provide shipping documentation to the Logistics Dept.Shipping approval + commercial Invoice approvalBULK PRODUCTION: Purchase Orders issuing and updating (factory & main lines). Follow up: production delivery in order to achieve timely delivery. Booking + shipping + commercial Invoice approval. FOB cost plant updating based on Sourcing confirmation. Ensure that vendors provide shipping documentation to the Logistics Dept.GENERAL ACTIVITIESData system maintenance and updating.
